New artwork to talk about! 02/04/2011
I've had a wonderful experience with my "Ode to a Lineman" painting being featured in the Oklahoma Living magazine! I am very honored and blessed for the privilege. I am acquiring new admirers of my art and it truly amazes and touches my heart. I have just posted my most recent painting. It's taken me quite awhile to finish it. Not because it was difficult (which it was), but mostly because the healing time was long and arduous after the tornado. I'm still trying to get the true colors of the painting to show properly in the photo of it. That's always hard for me! I know artists are supposed to paint happy things that make people feel good, but I believe in the emotional impact of all things, good or bad, as having a meaning in our lives. She has, since then, rebuilt the barn and is in the process of rebuilding her house. All is well. I hope this touches everyone in some way. Commentsshar 02/04/2011 12:34

I too am a mom of a lineman. My son is in Arizona with Sulfer Springs Co-OP. He recently had to bring one of his crewmen back from a serious fall. He fell 65 ft.and my son never stopped working on him. He is a true angel. The rest of the crew panicked at the sight of this poor guy when he hit the ground. I pray always that there is an angel looking after my son. They are doing a greatly dangerous job to keep us all powered up.

I have watched "Ode to a Lineman". You did a great work. you honor 30-year-old son, a lineworker for Oklahoma Gas and Electric.

I came across your work just accidentally, saw it on the Richeson 75 site. was just looking at some of the artist, but admire yours very much, because i love pastel. do not do it myself, but have to say yours is very nice. I think we need to be reinforced every once in a while. keep it up. joanna
